Top right, above the Social Media box, there should be 3 buttons. The left one allows you to hide specific categories I believe.
EDIT: Make sure you're on the main Forum page.

You can use "Forum On / Off" button for that. You can find it by going to "Forum" at the top of the page and then choose the first icon from these:
