I think the requirement of having 10 members is pretty crap and needs to be removed completely. A guild should be able to have as many or as few members it desires. I like playing my MMO's with a few friends and we typically run guilds of 4-6 people in all the games we play. This limitation now makes us question if we should refund the game and go find something else to play. Making more characters just to have dead weight in the guild and taking up slots on our accounts is just stupid to make up the rest. Why such a limitation is placed on a game mechanic is beyond me.
As far as I know the limitation is not accountbound but rather bound to actual characters in the guild. So you could essentially have some people level some alts to lv. 10 and thus circumvent the limit. But thats just how I remember it from the beta, so don't quote me on that.

Question to that point. I noticed that there was a Leader Impeachment System so if a leader was inactive for 30 days, they could be impeached. Would there be a limit for alt characters too? If they didn't login for 30 days, would they then be considered inactive members thus putting the guild into possible automatic deletion mode? If so, that would suck also.
Don't know about that, tbh. Could be either way.

No worries, thanks for taking the time to reply though. Something we'll have to find out when the game does come out but I hope the devs will remove the limitation. I doubt they will but it really is pointless to have it. Who cares if a guild has 3 players or 10 players? It makes no difference if players will circumvent it with alt dead characters they never touch more than the minimum requirement. Will just fill up the servers with dead characters that take up names others may want to use. Ah well, will be interesting to see how it goes. Thanks again for your time.

Impeachment system is only for the Leader, it's to allow for the Alliance to continue to persist and flourish after a Alliance leader is inactive for a long period of time, rather than having all of the progress go to waste.
Essentially, you can have 2 players within a Alliance and have 5 characters per each player in the Alliance since Alliance's are Character bound, not account bound.
The reason the limitation exists is to pretend a lot of dead Alliances within the Alliance search list, I think it is a reasonable system to have.
Nice write up, I surely will check this guide up again after experiencing a bit more. Though one thing I'm curious about that is not yet mentioned in the guide. What happen to your personal point/contribution after leaving and join a new one?

In other games I've played with a system that tracks guild contribution, if you leave it's gone. You start from zero with another guild. But perhaps someone who is familiar with the SOLO guild system can confirm that.
Hmh, maybe because you are still in "trial period", where you need to gather active members? and/or you are the only one in it? You might have to let the days run out =/
I think Byokko is correct.

That is correct, yes. Your alliance must have 10 members before you can do this (or it must automatically disband itself).
There needs to be a way to turn off achievement spam in chat. I have only 12 people right now but the spam fills all of chat.

You can adjust ur chats with colors and what you want to see in which tab, seperate tabs etc. I assume it counts as "system" notice (yellow)? if it would count as Alliance chat it would be weird >,<
I'm pretty sure I have system turned off, the spam is the same colour as guild chat.

Oof, then it is a weird configuration from the games sidex_x
