Things that should be account shared

  • I recently started an alt and am playing on 2 different characters, during the gameplay I noticed some stuff that are really frustrating regarding account and character shared things in the game. There are some things in the game that are shared between all the characters that you create and some that are not and should be.


    Achievements - There are some achievements that are shared and some that are not, why not simply make everything shared?

    Currencies - Such as Gold, Fishbone Coins, Erudition Coins.

    Prestige - There is no reason to farm it more than once across all of your characters.

    Ancestral Records- Same as Prestige.

    Qiankun bag and Recipes - I don't see any reason to gather materials on different characters, get the recipe drops on different characters, just to craft the same item.


    Astral points are shared. some achievements are shared, even the Book of Aeons is shared...


  • Add Sealstones and Parchment fragments that are one step bellow the current highest one.

    This isn't really a should or shouldn't queston. A lot of things NEED to be account bound. Western and eastern mentallity regarding heavy grind is completely different. Things need to be changed and the game needs to respect our time. As it currently stands the game is extremely alt unfriendly.

    Account bound Parchments will make half of your alt's gameplay void. For example, making parchments 75 account-bound will make it so when you reach GS75, you still actually have no idea how to play with the class, because you can simply farm the parchments on your higher geared character and move them.

  • I already suggested that at least twice before. As it isn't even VISIBLE what is and isnt account-wide. But yea. I also find it BS. Mentos, Friends etc also could be account shared but yea..

    Also how the RNG system and timegating is, the game is not friendly to "new characters". no matter if it's an alt or new player, it is actually hard to find groups to farm anything that isn't "the newest" or "the hardest".
    So yes I'd even appriciate to be able to share parchments. Or even Dupes.
    But yes, mostly achievments, prestige etc. I mean it's already scammy enough. For ecxample i orignnally leveled up alts, in order to do PvX weekly multiple times so I get more mats for housing. Turns out, the "15week/character" chests one can buy with diverse currencies. Is actually not per character, but per account, and also not per currency, but per all currency. aka there is a hard limit on it. Which made leveling allt he prestige etc on alts useless.

    Oh btw, while we are at it, the battle pass should also be account bouond, there are even "once per account" possible quests on it...

    The game still needs some catch-up machanic cuz as it currently is the weekly limits make it pretty much impossible to catch up. And you couldn't farm outdated parchments on your main nearly as efficiently anway once you max out the pet crafting for that tier so the leftover could be easily moved to your alt. I don't want painful grinding to be my alt's gameplay either. I want to have alts so I can play with friends and bring whatever is needed.

    I think there are a lot of things that could/should be account shared as Quality of Life features. I listed the things I was kind of dumbfounded that weren't already shared, forgot the Battle Pass though xD

  • I agree with this post. I've basically reached lvl 5 only on fishing but once I learned these aren't account shared I lost any interest I still had cuz I will start from 0 once Fox comes.

    The only thing about Ancestral records being account shared is that you could level it so much faster cuz you could gain way more xp for basically every profession, which I think would have to be patched somehow.

  • No mention of cloak? Why are they gender locked and not shared like other accessory, it's the same exact model on all characters

    Don't forget soul force relics and elixirs, and everything in the target tab in Cultivation.

    Since Astral Points are shared, I don't see why some stuff in the target tab are not... Only real reason would be so you will not get the cosmetics as soon as you start a new character, but rather have to farm them again.

    At some point, we all want to try out different classes, playing the same one for months gets boring. However, farming all those things again is a no-go, would probably lose interest in playing that new class really fast and quit altogether.

    1 - anyone could do that, there would be no "advantage".

    2 - maybe that would be the perfect time to remove all the time gating and restrictions (there is lit. more restrictions than gameplay)

    3 - in case restrictions should stay, they could be expanded to account wide - ya know, there are ways? For example. Expand weekly caps a bit, but make them account wide (since those who actually play multiple characters also have the "provide" for them). But one can chose to do themw ith whatever character, without having to do all of them for all of them. (For example JP, one can easly switch from their most comfy DD to a tank if duo tank is needed, or what ever, being more flexible etc)
    Also there is already this kind of weirdly limited stuff. The Housing mat boxes can be optained 15/week/character/ but at the same time, total can also only be 15/week/account, so one can chose to get how many with which character from which NPC(aka using what currency) but total will always be 15. So if this kind of thing already exists, why not make it simpler and global for everything and everyone?

    Did you every try to pull up a new character and try go gear them with level 60 gear? its super hard for "New players/character" currently to get up to date. Recruiting for current content it's alsready more "Waiting Simulator" than gameplay. Imagine the content noone rly needs anymore?
