Could we get a way to disable (other player's) red reaper fields?

The red reaper fields that you get using the new weapon skins look nice and all, but they also mean that there is a lot of visual clutter during instanced combat. They also have a particle effect which negatively affect my fps.

I know that there is a way for the weapon bearers themselves to disable the effect, but it would be nicer if I could just disable that myself. I mean, I can disable all other combat effects - why not this one?

I don't really know what you're referring to. The reaper fields are always visible, even with invisible players, as they should. However the standard effect is a lot more subte whereas the red fields are visually very irritating.
If a red field is right under the boss, you won't see red arrows that indicate attacks for example. I keep having to ask Reaper healers to turn off their ninefold-effects during dungeons and raids.
