More Customization options for Hair/Eye colors

    Dear players, dear CMs,


    It is always nice to have more options when creating our characters, and especially for newer MMOs I believe it is expected that we have more possibilities, rather than less. This is even more relevant when other MMORPGs that many of us have played offer so many different customization options for every aspect of our characters. After all we play, in the world you have created, with these characters, and have so many fun and happy moments along the way!


    I suggest having more customization options in the character creator, especially for hairstyles and eyes, and their colors.

    I have been following the game, and watched with interest different videos showcasing the character creator. The graphics are really nice, as are all the different options for the sliders. However especially for colors, I believe these to be underwhelming.

    It seems from the image above that we have only a selection of few flat colors for hair. I believe we should have more choice (full and mixed colors), possibly for different parts of the hair. I can understand if you think colors should stay closer to black given the genre, and I would be interested in hearing opinions from other players on this as well!


    I have a similar suggestion for the eyebrows and eyes. Especially for the eyes, it would be nice to have a wider choice (e.g. an RGB wheel, where we can freely choose the iris color, or a larger set of pre-made colors and iris patterns chosen by the developers - this is also e.g. what is used in Moonlight Blade).

    We love being able to customize our characters as much as possible, so that all our characters can feel a bit unique.

    Within a well balanced character creator, having more options is always better, and I really hope you will pass on these suggestions to the developers! :)

    I don't think we will be seeing many more options added on the basic character creation, as this is one of the main sources to make money on the cash shop for them.


    There is an incredible amount of customization on the cash shop for hairstyles, colors, and whatnot, as DeadLight already previewed.

    Well, 9 more eye types with fixed colors does not seem "incredible" to me.. In many other MMOs I played, you can just choose a color you like in the RGB circle or in a wider selection of presets.. and you can do that for free! I can't even remember, among successful MMOs, one that does not have this basic functionality in the normal character creator.


    It's fine if there is an option to buy extra patterns, but I believe at least for the standard eyes (the first 6) we should have the possibility of choosing a color we like. I am not against buying appearance items on the shop, but sadly what you show above feels even more limited.

    I would definitely like to see more hair and eye colors both in the standard character creation as well as in the cash shop. I understand that's where they make money but it's also important to show some of that in character creation so people understand it's at least available, even if some of it is locked. For me I'm not too concerned about having us all look a certain way because of the genre - I've already seen some wildly different hair/eye colors on a stream previewing those cash shop items so clearly it's not a concern for the devs, either. More so I just want something that looks more like me.

    At least the game has some sliders for the body. But I agree, some important ones are missing!!

    Maybe this is only a dream.. but as for hair and eye colors I think it's worth raising the point.

    New options can always be added in updates, or even as cash shop additions, and player feedback is really important here!

    There is actually a slider that give you other eye colour options in the cash shop. They aren't as good as a whole colour wheel but it gives you a good amount of colours to choose from. The ones you see in Character Creation is just the basic eye styles. The ones shown by Deadlight are the different styles with a colour adjust slider. Highlighting that vanity will be game forge's main source of income.

    Unfortunately a hair colour slider is not available ): However, I did see Pink, Blue, Grey and Blonde options for some of the hair styles (not all of them, and not all the colours for one hair style)
