Just don't get CC'd bro.
-
Not by starting a thread about it. What am I, you're bank?
Don't worry mister mikimax, I'll have all this sorted out for you, please hold...... "Insert 1980's disco hit songs here".....Okay, I'm back sir, would you--what? Nah don't worry I don't need any account info or banking details, your trusty random-forum user is more than equipped to handle this return policy armed with nothing more than a reply button.
I think you meant "Your bank" instead of "You are bank"

That's unfortunate, you're really missing out.

Probably not. The devs didn't create the Rampage mode thinking "we'll enable that at Student 1", much more probably "We're enabling that at max level".
Why would it suddenly change when the max level increases? The new required level will likely increase to the new max. At any rate, you could just ask someone playing on TW/CN server as far as that's concerned.
Tweaking things is not the same at all as modifying the behaviour of some features. Making the dungeons harder is just changing a few parameters. Probably somewhere in the Database. GF likely has the ability to change the Qi cost of the Rampage mode (so yes, they probably could make it so using the Rampage mode once gets you straight to 150 negative Qi) but they cannot change the way it works straight up (for example, no changes in the zones where it's possible to use it, or the fact that you can target people who don't have the mode enabled)
At any rate, even if they could do all that, they've said on the stream that they weren't going to, at the very least until weeks after the launch. They don't foresee any reason to change it though, so unless things go widely differently than what they're expecting, it's unlikely to ever happen.
The dungeon difficulty change came from the developer not Gameforge.

Never buy a game on Steam if it can be bought outside of steam. Especially MMORPGs.
I can't tell you how many people I've met that have FFXIV and ESO on Steam and when steam is down they can't log into the game. They also can never change back to non steam. -
Although I hate PvP, this is something, which I like because I can gather stuff together.
I love the Heaven's Children mount but also like the costum of Mysticism.
Is it possible to get both by changing side when I got one?
You can change every seven days according to the stream! I wonder if you retain your reputation with the side you left.

The mass PVP addition that is the faction pvp system will be more than enough PVP for me. I'm excited to earn mounts, costumes, and other rewards. I think many people will like this system as it is consensual.
Props to gameforge and the developer! -
Rampage players can only attack other rampage players. Do this and remove all punishments and find another use for the prison system elsewhere.
This way, Nobody has a reason to complain. Because if they got killed then it's their own fault for entering rampage mode. Plus this wouldn't stop the Pk'ers from having their fun. They'd be able to pk freely without worry of in-game punishments.
It will still be open-world PK because you'd have to worry about the other rampage players, you would also have significantly more time to PK as well. Would anyone agree with this? If not then why so? If the devs are willing to adjust the game by "English voices" to the NA/EU release then why not switch this feature as well?
Or do you want the option/opportunity to attack and kill players in pve content/pve gear to remain? The prison system to reduce your PK and active game time to remain?
This is the worst idea that I have read in my life, you are not made to be a game designer for sure
You must have not read it at all, i clearly stated in the 2nd post that personal attacks or singling me out personally is not needed, and only makes you look like an ignoramus. Once you do go back and do read it, tell me why its so bad? do you have any details or thoughts on the idea?
The system works in BDO, ArcheAge, TERA, and other MMORPGs. PKing has been around since Ultima.
There's no reason to change the system. It also creates more professions via the bounty system. -
You won't be the only ones with tutorial pvp gear. And once you rampage everyone else will get to attack you freely, ruining your few kills and pulling out. Hope you guys enjoy running rocks
We'll see! I plan to attack lonesome people harvesting nodes or doing dailies with my group and then getting out of there. We'll look for targets of opportunity and pretend to be killing mobs nearby.
I see you're leaving out the part where you can also get killed by one of those players and when you go to prison. Hopefully, the other inmates don't "Pk" you for dropping the virtual soap dish out of your inventory.
You can't pvp in prison
that's why i placed it in quotation marks.
I'm ready to do the time if we're caught. When I get out it's right back to PKing.

There are ways to avoid it according to CN and TW. My squad is ready to create the ultimate PK group.
- Switching Rampage mode costs 10 Qi, plus 1 per minute
- Killing someone has a 20 Qi cost
- You only go to prison if your Qi goes below 0
- You can get your Qi back up with questsLike I said, there is. But those quests or quest (I've only heard of one restoring Qi and it restores 50) is daily. Realistically meaning you can only PK like one person per a day, or 3 every 2 days per character. So you'd have to grind up 6 characters for 300 qi per day and gearing them in the best PVP gear or PVP gear in general might take weeks or months because PVP currency earned caps are weekly and based on your account.
On top of all of that, it's a fragile "strategy" this drunken user acts as if him or his squad dying in-game is just not possible. Once you die you go to jail. What if I or someone else creates an Anti-Pk squad that seeks out and spawn kill his group?
I've spent hours in jail in ArcheAge. However, I took down tons of people before going to jail. The idea of being a criminal in the game is exciting.

When I pk, I will sit down on the corpses to [REMOVED] them
This seems like a great idea.

You're given decent PVP gear from doing the tutorial. ilevel 50 +1 stone.
I'm not really worried about the consequences. You won't be the only ones with tutorial pvp gear. And once you rampage everyone else will get to attack you freely, ruining your few kills and pulling out. Hope you guys enjoy running rocks

When I PK people I won't talk in the chat at all. I will just use rampage mode and silently PK people.

Well, good luck with that. I don't really think you will find your efforts that rewarding. The penalty system in place punishes mindless PK'ing by making it cost ki or karma. The rampaging system can only be devoid of long wait times in jail if used sparingly.
I suppose one could hypothetically grind up 6 characters so they have 6x the dailies related to recovering qi/karma and get in 6x the PK'ing without jail time. That'd take something like 80+ hours of grinding to do. Even longer because there is a weekly PVP currency cap that is account based and not character based. And the 6x PVE dailies/weeklies would probably be more worth it to most people, since that's easy in-game money.

I simply can't wait until we hit max level and the PKing begins. It's going to be so much fun. There hasn't been a non consensual PVP game released in quite some time.
I for one plan to have multiple PVP characters for PKing purposes. I love world PVP. -
I want to see how many people I can PK before I go to jail. It's like a mini game to me. I plan to have characters just for PKing people.
-
I can't wait to PK everyone in sight.

I think the system should stay the same and people should just deal with it. If you don't want to be PKed you don't have to play SOLO.
